Dans \u00ab L&#8217;Histoire d&#8217;O \u00bb, le but des actions d&#8217;Anne-Marie est tout le contraire : O doit compl\u00e8tement abandonner son identit\u00e9 et son autonomie pour se soumettre aux d\u00e9sirs des autres (en particulier ceux de Sir Stephen). Cette dynamique va \u00e0 l&#8217;encontre d&#8217;une relation mentor-mentor\u00e9 classique, car Anne-Marie ne conduit pas O vers l&#8217;ind\u00e9pendance ou la responsabilit\u00e9 personnelle, mais vers un abandon total de soi.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contexte du roman<\/strong><br>Ses actions, comme le marquage au fer rouge ou l&#8217;application des r\u00e8gles, sont l&#8217;expression d&#8217;un contr\u00f4le et d&#8217;un pouvoir, et non d&#8217;un mentorat au sens traditionnel du terme.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-attribution-alternative-des-roles\"><strong>Attribution alternative des r\u00f4les<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gardienne du seuil ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La gardienne du seuil, quant \u00e0 elle, surveille le passage vers un nouveau monde ou une nouvelle phase du voyage et soumet le h\u00e9ros \u00e0 des \u00e9preuves pour tester sa valeur. Anne-Marie pourrait \u00eatre vue comme une gardienne du seuil, car elle fait d\u00e9couvrir \u00e0 O le monde plus profond et plus strict de Samois, qui repr\u00e9sente une nouvelle phase du voyage de O. Elle surveille la transformation de O \u00e0 travers des rituels comme le marquage et s&#8217;assure que O accepte les r\u00e8gles. Son autorit\u00e9 stricte et les \u00e9preuves qu&#8217;elle impose correspondent bien \u00e0 cet arch\u00e9type. Cependant, son r\u00f4le ne se limite pas \u00e0 la transition, elle reste une autorit\u00e9 permanente \u00e0 Samois, ce qui la fait sortir du simple r\u00f4le de gardienne du seuil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ombre<\/strong> ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;ombre repr\u00e9sente une force sombre ou antagoniste qui d\u00e9fie le h\u00e9ros. Anne-Marie n&#8217;est pas une antagoniste directe, car O accepte volontairement (bien qu&#8217;avec ambivalence) sa soumission. N\u00e9anmoins, on pourrait dire qu&#8217;Anne-Marie est une sorte de \u00ab mentor sombre \u00bb ou de figure de l&#8217;ombre, car elle incarne les aspects extr\u00eames du monde sadomasochiste qui exigent l&#8217;abandon de soi de O. Son contr\u00f4le strict et sans \u00e9motion pourrait \u00eatre vu comme une menace pour l&#8217;identit\u00e9 individuelle d&#8217;O, ce qui la rapproche de l&#8217;arch\u00e9type de l&#8217;ombre. Cependant, elle n&#8217;a pas l&#8217;opposition directe qui caract\u00e9rise une ombre, car O accepte son r\u00f4le.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D\u00e9esse ou alli\u00e9e ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces arch\u00e9types ne collent pas, car Anne-Marie n&#8217;offre aucun soutien \u00e9motionnel ou spirituel et n&#8217;est pas une alli\u00e9e au sens classique du terme. Son r\u00f4le n&#8217;est pas de donner du pouvoir \u00e0 O, mais de le mener \u00e0 la soumission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le filou<\/strong> ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le filou apporte le chaos ou le changement, ce qui n&#8217;est pas le cas d&#8217;Anne-Marie. Son r\u00f4le est ordonn\u00e9 et cibl\u00e9, sans \u00e9l\u00e9ments ludiques ou subversifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le syst\u00e8me du voyage du h\u00e9ros de Joseph Campbell, Anne-Marie peut \u00eatre d\u00e9crite comme une gardienne du seuil, car elle fait entrer O dans une nouvelle phase de son voyage (le monde de Samois) et lui impose des \u00e9preuves difficiles qui testent sa d\u00e9vouement. Son r\u00f4le autoritaire et les rituels qu&#8217;elle supervise correspondent \u00e0 cet arch\u00e9type, m\u00eame si elle va au-del\u00e0 de la simple fonction de gardienne du seuil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;arch\u00e9type du mentor serait une classification possible, mais moins appropri\u00e9e, car Anne-Marie n&#8217;a pas le c\u00f4t\u00e9 attentionn\u00e9 et encourageant d&#8217;un mentor.
